Deforestation is the permanent destruction of forests. Deforestation is the removed of a forest where the land is thereafter converted to a non-forest use. Deforestation occurs for many resources, trees are cut down to be used or sold as fuel. Deforestation is considered to be one of the contributing factor to global climate change.
