Political economy refers the study of the political basis of
economics in which government policies affect market procedures. Political
economy accords with such substances of the states, domestic and foreign policy
as the issue of money, foreign trade, taxation, etc. The investigation of the
nature and the origins of economic growth are the subject matter of political
economy. Political economy remains from the fact of private possessions.
‘State’ and ‘market’ are the political economy. Without state and market,
political economy would not be possible. State and market as the embodiment of
politics and economics in the modern world. Political economy is also called
science of economics. The study of politics are the study of conflict and its
resolution. It is the conflict over the control of government.
