Public relation is the art and science of planning and implementing communication to create positive image of product or organization. It is a continuous and consistent representation of organization to the public. The main objective of public relation is to achieve and maintain an organization’s positive image to the eyes of the public. Public relation is creating two way of communication. Public relation is a communication effort to create best possible reputation. Intangible nature of service and role of trust and credibility in service business increase the importance of public relation. 

To influence public opinion about the organization and about the product is the primary objective of public relation. The other aspect of corporate public relation is to develop corporate image of the organization. Successful owners promote themselves by presenting memorable personality. Public relation is focused on the organization and staff image. It is very important in service industry and in selling expensive goods because image of the organization represents the quality of the goods and services it offers.
